Good Hidings

Kate is flying the nest for pastures new. Leaving behind her alcoholic father, older sister and younger brother; how far can the apple actually fall from the tree? In the aftermath of the Farepak Christmas Hampers Scandal, Good Hidings tracks the life of one ordinary family from one Christmas to the next as they struggle with the challenges they face by growing up, coming out, and clocking in.

Good Hidings was Messy Dress Productions’ debut performance and won a Forever Manchester Award at the 2009 Not Part of Festival.

Review:

‘If it is not clear by now, then I will state again that I loved this play, it was written intelligently and acted out perfectly.’ ***** Becki Oake, City Life
